Split 2.0 metre shaft and 1 metre tuning spike; this antenna breaks down to a 990mm length for easy portability and terminates in a standard 3/8 x 24 base. For use as a portable antenna Adur Communications have commissioned a simple adaptor designed to be used with a standard camera tripod, the bracket accepts the thread that screws into the base of a camera and has a 3/8 base for the Outbacker, just attach a feeder cable to the SO239 socket - some radial wires to the 2 connecting screws and you are on the air  There are more options on vehicle mounts on our mobile antenna mounts page.
